The Connecting Point International, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization; established in 2018 out of the vision of Loretta Hawkins Outreach Ministries. Our purpose is to provide an array of services to the residents of Palm Beach County. We strive to meet the needs of individuals and families who may be poverty-stricken, in need of food or clothing, or may need support as they cope with the obstacles of life. The Connecting Point International, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization; established in 2018 out of the vision of Loretta Hawkins Outreach Ministries with the purpose to provide an array of services to the residents of Palm Beach County. OUR EVENT
We serve underprivileged middle and high school students residing within the Palm Beach County area. We also serve our students as mentors and advisors for our students providing them with academic support and helping them effectively navigate through everyday situations. Through our mentor-ship with the students, The Connecting Point also creates opportunity to be a support system for our parents and guardians. The Connecting Point offers three annual events aimed at developing the whole person through relevant life discussions and collaborative projects while building positive interpersonal and family relationships. Our events include:
Project19 Young Dreamers Dreaming Out Loud
This five-week course is designed to empower students to embrace their dreams and aspirations with the knowledge that the power to achieve comes from within. The purpose of this event will be to encourage students to aspire to think and dream outside the norm. Additional topics of discussion will surround improving financial literacy, health and wellness, and character building. The course will also provide law enforcement education, mentor-ship, and participation in college and career exploration.

The Connecting Point Geared Up Back to School Drive
This event is designed to acknowledge the students’ successful completion of Project 19. During the event, the students will receive a participation award and a backpack filled with back-to-school essentials, gearing them up for a great school year.

4th Annual Connecting Point Christmas Gathering
The Connecting Point is always family focused, and what better way to celebrate family than with a Christmas gathering! Our Christmas Gathering is dedicated to promoting family togetherness and provides the families we serve an opportunity to fellowship with one another. Our gathering is also used as a time to show our gratitude to our parents for their dedication and support.
